This year, we introduced the Daily Scrum to our schedule every day, and it has quickly become an essential part of how our team collaborates. As a fast-paced digital marketing agency, keeping projects, campaigns, and client expectations aligned can be challenging. The Daily Scrum, sometimes called a daily stand-up, has helped us create a rhythm that ensures everyone knows what’s happening, what’s coming next, and how to tackle obstacles as they arise.
What is the Daily Scrum?
The Daily Scrum comes from the Scrum framework in agile project management, originally used in software development. It’s a short, 15-minute meeting where the team aligns on progress, plans the day, and flags any blockers; focused on collaboration, not reporting to management.
For a digital marketing agency like ours, it works the same way: campaign planning, content creation, client communications, and performance tracking all stay on track. Everyone knows who’s responsible for what, and any bottlenecks are identified immediately, which keeps our workflow smooth and efficient.
The Benefits of Daily Scrum
During our work in office days, we stand up and huddle together to have our 15-minute regroup, and during work from home days, everyone gets into an online call to go over our goals of the day.
Since implementing the Daily Scrum, we’ve seen several key benefits:

Faster Problem Solving – Obstacles are raised and addressed immediately, preventing small issues from becoming larger problems.
