Kenangan Indah di Bali ☀️
02 Jul 2026
Every once in a while, the best thing a team can do is step away from the screens, the schedules, and the everyday routine. That’s exactly what we did from 6 to 9 June 2026, when the whole team touched down in Bali for a four-day retreat built around one simple intention: to rest, reconnect, and bond. From team building activities to shared meals to free and easy afternoons to explore Bali or to just relax at the beach.
But more than anything, the trip was best felt through the people who were there.
Here’s what the team had to say:
Dorothy — The Chief Kelefeh Officer
It was a great mid-year break we needed. So many highlights of this Bali trip – team building activities that challenged both our mental and physical strengths; the never ending sea breeze that almost blow you away and the connection with the team about life and onwards. We shall do more.

Ting — The Camera Man
It was a little break we all kinda needed. It’s nice to be able to talk more to people who I don’t usually talk much to. But chit chatting about things besides work was nice. Team building was pretty fun, but the highlight is to eat Tuna Tartare again hahah.

Iwan — The Audio Guy
This Bali trip was so relaxing. Honestly the best healing trip ever. Loved the makan-makan, especially Crispy duck at Bebek Tepi Sawah, seafood at Jimbaran, and Nusa at Bali Collection.

Michael — The Producer and everything else So great! Shoulda been longer! IDOTYOU is the best! Best highlight: Swimming with a view, and cocktails! Oh, the currency exchange also.

Alyson Lee — Tipsy Is My Middle Name
This trip to Bali felt like a well-earned reward after a long marathon. It was an opportunity to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come after months of hard work and constant momentum. Being surrounded by nature, culture, and a slower pace of life offered a refreshing perspective. I returned feeling re-energized and ready for the next campaign wooo. The team-building activities were a major highlight of this trip. We bonded through challenging moments and, in a way, even “suffered” together. Communication, Coordination, and Mutual Respect is ingrained in my head now. Another highlight was our final night at M-Mart, where we went all out buying snacks together. It was a simple but fun moment that summed up the trip perfectly.

Min Qian — The Steve Job of IDOTYOU
One shade tanner with a fully filled belly, I finally got the chance to wind down, forget about my worries, and just focus on the present moment. It was lovely getting to bond with the people we spend so much time with, it’s definitely something worth remembering. Big thank you to Dot and everyone who made the trip possible to begin with. My favourite highlight were the little moments we spent together doing nothing in particular, enjoying the windy breeze over a bottle of Singaraja, sitting somewhere chatting about anything and everything, or even just taking a moment to enjoy the sunset together in silence. It’s the simple things that turn out to mean the most.

Derrick — The Biggest (calories) Loser of the year
Honestly, this trip made me realise we are more than just colleagues. I didn’t expect the team building session to be this fun, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. It was also my first time going to Bali, which made it even more memorable. After this trip, I feel like everyone became much closer, and I can finally say… this is my first time seeing everyone’s teeth because we were laughing non-stop hahahah. Ever since we came back, I’ve also found myself going back to my gallery just to relive all the moments and remember everything that happened during the trip. That’s how I know it was a good one. My highlight has to be our last night together. The weather was nice, the laughter was loud, and everyone somehow became extra talkative. We were just sitting around chatting, but it turned out to be one of the best moments of the trip. Who knew that doing absolutely nothing together could end up being one of the best memories from Bali!!

Melisa — The Passenger Princess
Another beautiful memory created with the team! I really enjoyed just chilling and chatting with people I don’t usually talk to, it was nice hearing about their lives outside of work and learning from their experiences. It also felt really good to slow down for a bit, take a break from the fast pace, and just enjoy the sea view 🌊✨
My favourite moment was definitely the sunset dinner. I always love to just sit quietly and watch the sunset, it’s something about it that makes me feel like the day’s challenges have finally come to an end. At that moment, everything slows down. The view was really nice, and everything just felt calm. It was a simple moment, but being there with the team made it even better, enjoying the view and the food. Definitely one of those moments I’ll remember.

Jessica — The Media Girl
This short getaway gave me a temporary break from my busy schedule and helped me recharge (although still bringing laptop haha). Bali’s chill vibes, refreshing sea breeze, and beautiful sunsets are things that many city office workers rarely get to enjoy. I felt appreciated and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this trip. It was also a great chance to bond with colleagues from other teams whom I don’t usually get to collaborate with closely. I would say the team-building activities were the highlight of the trip. I really enjoyed the games that were arranged, as some required strong teamwork within the group while others involved friendly competition, which added excitement to the experience. Although there were a few challenges along the way, it was very satisfying when we worked together and successfully overcame them as a team.

Ariel — The Media Girl 2.0
It was a refreshing change of pace from the busy schedules we’re used to at IDOTYOU. I’m grateful that we had the opportunity to pause, recharge, and reconnect with one another outside of our usual work environment. The trip was filled with meaningful team bonding moments and great company, making it a memorable experience. Every day came with its own special moments, but if I had to choose one highlight, it would be the welcome dinner by the beach on Day 1. Enjoying our meal with the sea breeze, while spending quality time together, set the tone for the entire trip. The games like “Big Fish, Small Fish” and the counting game brought out everyone’s fun side, and it was great seeing the team let loose, laugh, and enjoy the moment together.

Shi Ying — Kepala Kreatif
It was a nice break from the busy work routine. Just chilling by the sea, enjoying the breeze, good company, and doing absolutely nothing for a while. My highlight of the trip was definitely getting to try surfing, a new experience unlocked in 2026. Another highlight was the bus ride when everyone started singing karaoke together. It was chaotic in the best way, full of energy, and honestly, it was a lot of fun.

Sheralyn — The Crochet Enthusiast
I feel like I get closer to my colleagues whenever we go for company trips together, and this Bali trip was definitely one of them. It feels nice to be able to let loose and see others show a side of them we don’t usually see in office. My highlight of the trip was the team building activities where we got to test our teamwork and physical strength. It was a good and tiring session of working together as a team, but in a different way. Another highlight was that I got to surf for the first time! Thank you Dot for this amazing trip, definitely one of the highlights of the year!

Jenny — The Hotpot Girl
This trip truly felt like a chance to disconnect and recharge. Being away from the usual distractions — no shopping, no packed schedules, and not much entertainment — made it surprisingly relaxing. It gave me the opportunity to slow down, clear my mind, and simply enjoy the moment. After being so immersed in work, this was a much-needed break that allowed me to fully unwind and appreciate a different pace of life. Without a doubt, trying surfing was the highlight of the trip. As someone who can’t swim and has absolutely no athletic talent, I never imagined I would be able to do it. It wasn’t just the highlight of this trip — it was one of the highlights of my life. Another unforgettable moment was our last night together. With the beautiful lights, the cool sea breeze, and everyone gathered around sharing stories, it became such a special memory. Listening to everyone’s life experiences and discovering stories about each other that we had never known before made me feel even more grateful to be part of this team.

Ash Tan — The Pokemon Guy
This trip made me feel more connected with the team. Spending a few days together outside of work gave us the chance to get to know each other better, have fun, and create memories together. I came back feeling refreshed and even more grateful to be part of the team. The highlight for me was hanging out at Dot’s villa. It was such a nice place to relax, and some of my favourite moments were just hanging out together, having drinks, chatting, and enjoying the atmosphere. Those simple moments made the trip feel extra special and brought everyone closer together.

Jesse Ching — The KV Girl
It was my first time visiting Bali, and I really enjoyed how chill and easy-going everything felt. The trip gave me a chance to rest well and take a break from my usual routine. It was nice to step away from my usual routine for a few days and enjoy the moments 🙂 I really like the evening swims at our resort’s private beach pool. It’s super chill and breezing but my highlight is still the team building. It’s fun even though some of us are injured but it’s a good experience to remember. Overall, it’s a good way to bond and hang out as a team.

Yao — The “Final_v2_Final_REAL_Final” Guy
This 4D3N Bali trip made me feel really relaxed and grateful, thank God the weather was perfect and everything went smoothly. It was my first time in Bali so it felt fresh and new to experience the culture there, and before going I was a bit worried about water hygiene and getting sick, but everything turned out fine. I really enjoyed the slow and easy pace of the trip, not rushing from one place to another, just staying in one spot, feeling the sea breeze and enjoying the moment. My favourite highlight was the seafood marathon dinner and the team building activities! At the beginning, I was really excited with every dish coming out, everything looked amazing and I was looking forward to it. But as we kept eating, more and more dishes kept coming nonstop, and soon the table was already running out of space. I never thought I would get to see a table completely filled with so much seafood at once, so thank you to the company for treating us to such a rich and generous seafood dinner. The team building activities were also very interesting. During the process, I could see everyone’s different personalities come out naturally. Some people were more willing to cooperate, some were open to others’ ideas, and some stayed calm in handling situations. It was a good moment that really reflected how each person responds in a team. Overall, it was a meaningful experience for us to observe, reflect, and learn from each other.

Max Chan — The Gym Bro
Now that we’re back, I keep thinking about how much this trip meant beyond just visiting Bali. The team-building activities weren’t just games, they really brought everyone closer together. It was nice seeing everyone let loose, laugh, and cheer each other on outside of work. One of my favourite parts was the late night chats. Sitting together, sharing stories, talking about life, and getting to know one another on a deeper level. Grateful to Dot for making this trip possible, and grateful to be part of a team that knows how to work hard, have fun, and create memories together.

Ellie — The Makeup Connoisseur
This was my first ever company trip and team building, and also my first time visiting Bali. I made so many wonderful memories, had such a relaxing time, and truly enjoyed every moment. So grateful for this experience! ❤️ My favourite highlight was when we went cycling together and had so many beautiful views along the way. And having lunch at Nusa by Suka, the food was absolutely delicious!

Kenny Walakandou — The IDOTYOU Ally
I really enjoyed all the trips with IDOTYOU, but this one was extra special because I got to see my beautiful country again. 😊 One of the highlights was definitely the team building. It just felt good to be surrounded by people you knew you could trust and the positivity we shared enhanced the whole experience. My favourite moment was the last night when we basically just bought the whole M Mart. 😆 It warmed my heart to see how cheap snacks and ice cream could make people so happy. It reminded me of my childhood when things were much simpler. Thank you IDOTYOU for having me! 🥰

Olivia Sivasamboo — 67 Queen ✨
As this was my first company trip, it was such a fun experience 🥹 Seeing everyone outside of work just hits different HAHA. It was nice getting to chill, bond, and realise how fun everyone actually is~ The highlight of the trip was definitely our post-dinner ice cream runs every night XDDD My fave was the Magnum Mango Yogurt ice cream. Also lowkey loved how on the last day we all ended up at the convenience store panic-buying snacks for our loved ones before flying home HAHA. memories fr

Chu Hou Chen — The Office Yawner
This was my first time joining an IDOTYOU company trip, and I’d like to thank Dot for giving me the opportunity to be part of it. I really enjoyed the 4D3N trip, especially the team-building activities where everyone got to laugh, play, and bond together. Although I suffered from heat stroke one day and unfortunately missed the amazing seafood dinner, I truly felt how caring everyone was. A special thanks to Mike for checking on me and offering me painkillers; it was a very heartwarming gesture. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next IDOTYOU trip! One of the biggest highlights of the trip was during the team-building activities. There was a game called “Save the Queen and the King”, and I got picked to be the king. In one of the challenges, the team had to lift me up using multiple ropes so I could reach and touch a belt. It turned out to be way harder than I expected! Everyone was pushing, pulling, and lifting with all their strength to get me up there. At one point, it even looked like Ash was about to break his back trying to help. But in the end, we managed to pull it off, and it was such a great feeling. That moment really showed me that as a team, we can achieve things that seem impossible when everyone works together.

At the end of it all, a trip like this isn’t really about the itinerary, it’s about the people you share it with. Bali gave the team a much-needed pause, time to rest, laugh, and just be present with one another. We came back from Bali rested, recharged, and reminded of why we enjoy working alongside each other. We carry that energy back into our everyday work, and into how we show up for our clients.
