It goes without saying that the pandemic has impacted the livelihood of countless families and communities.

In an effort to provide aid and assistance to 150 homes in the Klang Valley, we’ve partnered together with IPC Shopping Centre & HOPE worldwide Malaysia in a joint initiative called Happiness to Homes to raise RM75,000. The money raised will be used to provide 150 B40 families within the Klang Valley with home essentials, groceries and school supplies.

IPC Shopping Centre, along with their partners Ben’s Independent Grocer, Harvey Norman, AEON Wellness and Popular Bookstore have also put together seven varieties of home essentials kits which include:

  1. Food package for families of 2 to 5 at RM63.50
  2. Food package for families of 6 and above at RM111.55
  3. Philips 1.5L electric kettle at RM110.00
  4. Khind gas stove at RM70.00
  5. Khind 1.8L rice cooker at RM100.00
  6. Rechargeable and portable disinfectant spray machine with 1 litre of disinfectant spray solution at RM159.00
  7. School supplies package for 1 student at RM100.00

If you would like to make a contribution to the cause, you can easily do so by visiting the Happiness to Homes microsite, https://ipchappinesstohomes.com, and selecting your desired help package listed. All proceeds will be channeled to HOPE worldwide Malaysia and is eligible for tax exemption. Every item will be purchased from a participating tenant at a special rate and will be directly distributed to the selected families.

The Marketing Manager of IPC Shopping Centre, Mark Tan said, “This year’s National Day themed ‘Malaysia Prihatin’ celebrates the true Malaysian Spirit. It honours all who have come together to help those who are confronted by the hardships of the pandemic, be it individuals, families, or even businesses. At IPC, we stand together with our fellow Malaysians in supporting those around us. The past year has not been the kindest to our tenants as many had to cease physical operations due to government orders. However, each of them continues to strive in adversity and even placed the community above themselves. To make an impact is a community effort. As we continue to serve our tenants and shoppers, we hope to create meaningful memories together by reaching out to the wider community in the Klang Valley. Through the Happiness to Homes campaign, we are to bring a glimpse of hope to the homes of those in need.”

The Happiness to Homes campaign is an ongoing campaign, running from the 16th of September 2021 till 17th of October 2021. Do not forget to visit https://ipchappinesstohomes.com to contribute and to find out more!
