IDOTYOU Won 1 Silver for Tesco Malaysia at the advertising + marketing magazine’s Agency of the Year Awards 2020! – The MARKies “Most Effective Use for Events”

With a strong panel of 65 independent judges and multiple great events planned & implemented in 2019, IDOTYOU managed to shine among all and won silver in The MARKies category of “Most Effective Use – Events” with Tesco Malaysia’s Chinese New Year campaign – Semua Ong Mali 13-Hour Facebook Live.

With the growing trend for small businesses and home businesses to use real time livestreaming to help them sell their fashion, auctioning of fresh seafood straight from the sea via Facebook Live, consumers are actually watching these livestreaming regularly, participate in the auctioning and actually making purchases online before the business owners deliver the sold goods to them. With this, we proposed and executed the first ever 13-hour consecutive Facebook Live consumer event in South East Asia.

To make sure that audiences were constantly engaged throughout the Facebook Live event, up to more than 40 over different segments of program with multiple activities were organised and planned to run throughout the 13-hour broadcast at Tesco:
